He not only feeds her and cleans her litter, but spends a little time playing with her, too. She enjoys this more than the food! He noticed something wasn't quite right when Hazel didn't come inside to greet him....once in the backyard he notice that a fire had started! He acted quickly and put it out! "I started using Tony and Austin to watch my animals when I had a last minute flight and they were very accommodating. I live in a downtown high-rise with a cat, an epileptic miniature pinscher, and a 9 month old great dane. I was gone two days and Tony and Austin kept me in the loop and updated me every time they dropped by to let me know how every one was doing. Unfortunately for my miniature pinscher, she experienced a seizure in their care. Thankfully it was while she was under supervision from Austin and he turned down the lights and helped her relax and made sure the apartment was quiet for her when he finally left for the night per my instructions. They were amazing to my animals and to me, they made sure all medications were taken on schedule and were on time for every visit. I couldn't have been happier with them. Tony kept me updated on how it each day, and when Mojo wouldn't cooperate, Tony was persistent and creative in getting him to take the medications without using force. "We would give this place twelve stars if we could. We called them after our stand-by kitty sitters fell through, and with just over a week's notice, Tony was super responsive and he and Brandi came out to visit the "kids" and make arrangements. Brandi texted us every day we were gone with updates, left us great notes to find upon our return, and they both went absolutely above and beyond in terms of customer service and assistance. So impressive, and particularly so because it was around the holidays, and reasonably priced to boot. We got home and our cats didn't even seem to have missed us - a mark of a great sitter, as far as I'm concerned. "Tony, the owner of Denver Metro Pet Sitters, is absolutely amazing. My dog (and my sister's two dogs) stayed with him for 6 nights recently. I was concerned about finding someone I trusted to watch over my "furry child," not only because he gets really stressed out in new environments and around strangers, but also because he's a senior dog with special needs that not everyone wants to deal with. Tony won everyone over (including the dogs) with his perfect balance of competence, compassion, and charm. I was further impressed with his desire to have a meet and greet beforehand; his detailed, twice-daily updates while we were gone; his willingness to accommodate our traveling schedule for a 9:30 pm pickup; and his really reasonable rates. If you want peace-of-mind that your pets receive attentive, personalized care while you're away, Tony is top-notch!
